Returns and Exchanges

Vamers Store only deals in new merchandise, ensuring that you, our customer, will always receive items that are in good condition and working order. However, in the unlikely event that received goods are faulty or damaged or incorrectly supplied, the following Returns and Exchanges Policies in conjunction with our Cancellation Policy, as noted in our Terms and Conditionswill apply.

Returns Policy

  • We accept returns within 48 hours of goods being received.
  • Returned items must be in original supplied condition with original packaging, tags, booklets and labels (collectible merchandise must still be sealed and in original packaging).
  • Relevant proof of purchase must be provided.
  • All requests for returns must be lodged through our ‘Contact Us’ page.
  • You will be responsible for the return shipping costs of non-defective merchandise.

Refunds

  • Refunds will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
  • Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method or via Electronic Funds Transfer.
  • Refunds may take up to 20 working days or more to be processed.
  • We reserve the right to issue store credit for returned items.
  • A 15% restocking fee will apply to all returns and refunds.
  • You will be responsible for the return shipping costs of non-defective merchandise.

Non-Returnable Items

Non-returnable items include food products, undergarments, blind box items, products with downloadable content, competition or giveaway goods, unique items that are made to order or customised, collectibles that have been opened, and all other items as noted on the relevant product page cannot be returned for refund or store credit.

Cancellations Policy

At Vamers Store we do our utmost to ensure that orders are processed and fulfilled quickly and efficiently, as it is our aim to ‘satisfy your inner geek’. As such, we aim to successfully see every order through from payment to delivery. In the event of an order cancellation, the following Cancellation Policy applies:

  • All requests for cancellations must be lodged through our ‘Contact Us’ page.
  • Cancellations will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
  • Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method or Electronic Funds Transfer.
  • We reserve the right to issue store credit for all cancelled orders.
  • In-Stock merchandise:
    • Orders paid in full for in-stock merchandise that are cancelled within 24 hours of being placed or before the item is shipped to the customer will receive a full refund of the total purchase amount.
    • Regrettably, all international orders do not qualify for refunds once shipped.
    • An admin charge of up to 10% of the order value may also be incurred.
  • Pre-Order merchandise:
    • Pre-Order deposits, whether it be a partial or full payment, secures your order by means of a reservation. As such, all pre-orders are non-refundable. If you change your mind or wish to cancel, the paid deposit will be credited against your account in the form of Vamers Store Loyalty Points. These points may be used against another product on Vamers Store.
    • An admin charge of up to 10% of the order will also be incurred.
    • As per the South African Consumer Protection Act, payments made on an item with the status of ‘pre-order’ are considered a form of reservation. Therefore the initial deposit payment and admin charges are not refundable in the event that the order is cancelled.
  • Payment Plans:
    • All payment plans adhere to an absolute and clearly defined non-refundable deposit payment between 15% – 40% of the total cost of the item purchased. This deposit is considered as a ‘reservation fee’.
    • All credit paid over and above the deposit payment will be credited to the customers account in the form of Vamers Store Loyalty Points. These points used against another product on Vamers Store.
    • An admin charge of up to 10% of the order will also be incurred.
